Branko Milanović is a lead economist in the World Bank's research department,where he has been working on the topics of income inequality and globalization. Previously, he was a World Bank country economist for Poland and a research fellow at the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade. Since 1996, Milanovic has also served as a visiting professor teaching the economics of transition at the Johns Hopkins University's School for Advanced International Studies. He received his Ph.D. in economics in 1987 from Belgrade University.

Marko V. Jaric was born on March 17, 1952 in Belgrade. He completed his elementary school education in Belgrade and attended the Air Force Military High School in Mostar where he graduated in 1970 as the best student of his class. Subsequently he enrolled at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics where he received a degree in physics in 1974, graduating as the best student of his generation. He received his Ph.D. in 1978 at the City University of New York with professor Joseph Birman, one of the most prominent physicists in solid-state physics, as his thesis advisor.

Zorica Pantic, born circa 1951 in the former Yugoslavia, is a college administrator and professor of electrical engineering. In 2005 she was appointed the fourth president of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

Pantic was previously the founding Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio and was Director of the School of Engineering at San Francisco State University.

Zavisa I. Janjic is a leading scientist with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. In 2007, Dr. Janjic was awarded the Francis W. Reichelderfer Award from the American Meteorological Society for his outstanding contributions to developments and implementation of the NOAA Environmental Modeling Center's regional weather prediction models (Eta and NMM). The numerical and parameterization schemes he developed ideally combine theoretical and technical solutions, as well as balance between elegance and practicality.

Milan Radoje Vukcevich (Milan R. Vukčević) (March 11, 1937 – May 10, 2003) was a Yugoslav scientist, chess International Master, Grandmaster chess problem composer, and writer.

Vukcevich was born in Belgrade. In 1955 he won the Yugoslav Junior Championship, drawing a six game match with Bent Larsen in the same year. He became a chess International Master in 1958, and in 1960 played for Yugoslavia at the Chess Olympiad in Leipzig and had the second best overall score at the Student Chess Olympiad in Leningrad. In 1963 he moved to the United States, settling in Ohio.

Др Бранислав - Брана Видић (Сремска Митровица, 20. мај 1934), професор на Џорџтаун универзитету у Вашингтону, академик, светски стручњак за микробиологију. Дипломирао је стоматологију у Београду, а последипломске студије је завршио на Атомском институту у Швајцарској. У Швајцарској држи повремено предавања као гостујући професор. Поред научног, бави се хуманитарним радом и председник је организације „Ми бринемо“, која је помагала у збрињавању избеглица.
