Berislav V. Zlokovic, an internationally recognized leader in the research of Alzheimer disease and stroke from the University of Rochester Medical Center, has been appointed to the position of professor and chair of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics in the Keck School of Medicine, effective Dec. 15. Zlokovic has also been named the director of the new Center for Neurodegeneration and Regeneration at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute.

Dragoslav D. Šiljak (born 1933 in Belgrade, Serbia) is a professor of Electrical Engineering at Santa Clara University, where he holds the title of Benjamin and Mae Swig University Professor. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1963 from the University of Belgrade.

He is the author of the book 'Decentralized Control of Complex Systems', Academic Press (1991).

Дејан Стојковић је рођен 4. фебрура 1971. године У Врању. Ожењен је и отац је двоје деце. Дипломирао je физику на Универзитету у Београду 1994. године. Последипломске студије је наствио на Институту за физику у Београду где је био асистент др Александру Богојевићу на последипломским предметима Квантна теорија поља I и Квантна теорија поља II. Под менторством др Богојевића је и магистрирао 1997. са тезом: Non-Singular Black Holes in Dilaton Gravity.

Having lived, worked, and trained both in Belgrade and New York City, I bring my skills and experience as a clinical psychologist, teacher, supervisor, and public speaker. Open Letter in Support of Jasmina Vujic


Prof. Jasmina Vujić, an international member of AESS since 2012, is a Full Professor at the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of California at Berkeley (USA). She served as the Chair of the NE Department from 2005 to 2009, and was the first female nuclear engineering department chair in the USA. She was the Vice-President and President of NEDHO (Nuclear Engineering Department Heads Organization) in the USA from 2010-2012. She established and directed two university-based research and educational centers: the Berkeley Nuclear Research Center in 2009 and the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium in 2011, with more than 150 collaborating researchers from several leading US universities.

Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic is a Serbian American engineer and currently a professor of biomedical engineering at Columbia University. She is the director of Columbia's Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering. Vunjak-Novakovic is a highly cited researcher, having published 235 engineering papers, two books, 45 book chapters, and 34 patents. She had also given over 150 lectures across the world. Vunjak-Novakovic is an advisor to the federal government on tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, serving as chair of NIH's tissue engineering section. Vunjak-Novakovic's areas of research include tissue engineering, bioreactors, biophysical regulation, tissue development, and stem cell research.

Dušan Ristić (Serbian Cyrillic: Душан Ристић, born November 27, 1995) is a Serbian basketball player, who currently plays college basketball as a junior for the Arizona Wildcats.

Dušan grew up with Crvena zvezda youth team. He made his professional debut with Zvezda second team Radnički FMP during the 2012–13 season.

His debut with first team of Crvena zvezda was during the 2013–14 ABA League season. He also played two games in Euroleague. However, he decided not to sign professional contract with club.
