.Српскохрватски језик се некада изучавао на универзитетима у више од 30 земаља света, а данас се српски језик као самостални студијски програм учи у само 12 градова у Европи. Из године у годину смањује се број лектората српског језика или се услед недостатка наставника постављају лектори хрватског или босанског језика. Француска и Италија само су неке од држава у којима се број лектората српског језика смањио, а укинути су у Сиднеју, Келну, Салцбургу и Гранади. Једини изузетак су Сједињене Америчке Државе, где је интересовање чак повећано, али се на универзитетима у Америци српски учи у оквиру БХС језика (босански, хрватски, српски).

Gostima okupljenim u „Tenri“ kulturnom centru u Njujorku, koji su usled interesovanja koje je premašilo kapacitet sale, bili smeštani i na fotelje izvučene iz obližnjih kancelarija ili su strpljivo stajali u uglovima, Dimitrije se najpre predstavio originalnom kompozicijom „Elipsis” (“Ellipsis”) koja je dala ton čitavoj večeri.

An Exhibit of Byzantine and Modern Orthodox Icons
Residents of Heaven is a book of Icons by Father Stamatis Skliris which were prepared for "An Exhibit of Byzantine and Modern Orthodox Icons" held at the "David Allan Hubbard Library, Fuller Theological Seminary" in Pasadena, California, June 10 - July 5, 2010.
The iconographer, V. Rev. Stamatis Skliris, attended the opening of the exhibit with His Grace, Bishop Maxim who gave the Introduction. The mounting of the display was done by Jasminka Gabrie and the staff of the Fuller Library. The opening event was organized by Dr. William Dyrness, Director of the Visual Faith Institute, Brehm Center for Worship, Theology and the Arts, Fuller Seminary.
