Vladimir Mr.V Djordjevic, US citizen of Serbian descent, born January 23, 1973 in Belgrade, Serbia, live and work in Miami, Florida, USA. Vladimir is a 5 time US Martial Arts Hall of Fame'r and a WorldWide known Hand to Hand Combat Instructor. Mr.V is an edged weapon combat specialist who also designs some of the world's deadliest blades known as " Mr.V® - Made in USA". He is founder and chief instructor of Odbrana, Tactical Defense System. As highly skilled combat instructor, he has taught classes and seminars in weapon awareness and use for military, law enforcement, and security organizations. Mr.V is known as martial artist, producer, stuntman, writer and talk show host with an expertise in fight choreography.

He is a humanist, leader of Serbian Diaspora in USA, public activist and defender of the women and children's rights against violence in schools, family and society. His size and weight makes him the perfect candidate for stunt scenes in action movies. He is a member at large at Illinois Film Commission and some of his notable film directing and fight choreography scenes include: Betrayed (2007), Minor League: A Football Story (2010), She Wants Me (2012), Forget the Pact (2013) and Never Change (2013). Mr. V has done work with some of the biggest names in the industry. Some of these stars include: Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Cynthia Rothrock, etc. Vladimir has an excellent rapport in the Miami community, and has been a role model for most of the male figures in his life. His students often say he's a giant Jason Statham, and skillful like Steven Seagal and Chuck Norris together.

Никола Петковић (Инђија, 18. август 1893 — Питсбург, 1952) је био српски сликар у исељеништву из прве половине 20. века.

Рођен 1893. године у Инђији, у Срему, Никола Петковић је учио сликарство на Академији ликовне уметности у Бечу. 1916. године се иселио у Америку. Немајући средства за живот, после Првог светског рата прихватио се свештеничког позива, који је напустио 1930. када је дошао у сукоб са црквеним властима. У исељеништву је наставио да учи сликарство у вечерњој школи Карнеџи – универзитета у Питсбургу.

2013 marked several momentous occasions: 50 years of the founding of the Western American Diocese, 150 years of the birth of Archimandrite Sebastian Dabovich, Holy Apostle to the Americas, 1700 years of the Edict of Milan, and a special tribute to Nikola Tesla! Our main focus during this three-day Jubilee Celebration was on the freedom to pursue our faith since the time of Constantine 1700 years ago and how to better live a spiritual life.

As a special tribute, a beautiful commemorative edition of the Annual was prepared, which reflects the History of the Western American Diocese! It is adorned with beautiful photographs and historical articles from our parishes and monateries! It also showcases the wonderful work that has been done over the past year throughout our Diocese and information about our many ongoing ministries. This publicaton also includes a Directory of Parishes.
