Pomoć za četiri porodice iz Pomoravlja

Kolo srpskih sestara iz San Franciska poslalo je pomoć za četiri porodice iz Velikog Ropotova i Pančela u kosovskom pomoravlju. 

Monahinja Irina iz manastira Gračanice, koja vodi Humanitarnu organizaciju „Sveti Jovan Milostivi“ uručila je novčanu pomoć i igračke deci porodica Slavoljuba Naskovića, Dejanović Srđana i Bobana Nikolića iz Ropotova i Ivana Aksića iz Pančela.

Porodica Nikolić je u posebno teškoj situaciji jer domaćin Boban mora tri puta nedeljno da odlazi u Vranje na lečenje i dijalizu.

Kolo srpskih sestara iz San Franciska i Eparhija zapadno-američka sa svojim episkopom Maksimom redovno pomažu mnogočlane i materijalno ugrožene porodice na Kosovu i Metohiji.

John Alexander Vidović

John Vidovic is a young musician and composer whose talents, work with students, and presence in various musical circles have already created a significant community impact. Mr. Vidovic specializes in classical guitar, music theory and composition. He has been playing guitar for 13 years and has accumulated 11 years of experience as a self-taught pianist.

John studied guitar with Michael McChesney and Barrios scholar Richard Stover, as well as voice with Christopher Bengochea. He graduated from UCLA with a BA in music composition. As a composer, he has 9 years of experience in composition ranging from solo works to large ensembles, including chorus, wind ensemble and orchestra. He has also conducted original choral composition under the direction of Maestro Donald Neuen with the UCLA Chamber Singers in Royce Hall in June 2011. Mr. Vidovic composed choral works for the West Valley College Chamber singers performed at the Finale concerts in May 2009 and December 2011. His main influences include music from Latin America, Romantic era music, and folk music from Eastern Europe.

Western American Diocese - Annual 2013

2013 marked several momentous occasions: 50 years of the founding of the Western American Diocese, 150 years of the birth of Archimandrite Sebastian Dabovich, Holy Apostle to the Americas, 1700 years of the Edict of Milan, and a special tribute to Nikola Tesla! Our main focus during this three-day Jubilee Celebration was on the freedom to pursue our faith since the time of Constantine 1700 years ago and how to better live a spiritual life.

As a special tribute, a beautiful commemorative edition of the Annual was prepared, which reflects the History of the Western American Diocese! It is adorned with beautiful photographs and historical articles from our parishes and monateries! It also showcases the wonderful work that has been done over the past year throughout our Diocese and information about our many ongoing ministries. This publicaton also includes a Directory of Parishes.

There are two version of this publication available. Our Hardcover version sells for $15. Our Softcover version sells for $10 and includes Ads & Greetings from families and businesses throughout our Diocese.
