Vasil Hadžimanov dobitnik nagrade za najboljeg džez pijanistu

Muzičar Vasil Hadžimanov dobitnik je nagrade za najboljeg džez pijanistu na električnom klaviru, koja mu je dododeljena na 41. Annual Jazz Station Awards.

Takođe, u kategoriji "Najbolja džez grupa", Vasil Hadžimanov Bend, zauzeo je drugo mesto.

Među ostalim dobitnicima nalaze se vrhunski džez muzičari poput Rona Kartera, Marka Koplanda, Čik Koreje, Rendi Brekera, Dejva Libmana i mnogih drugih.

Iza ove nagrade stoji Arnaldo Desouteiro, džez novinar, producent, istoričar, predavač i producent više od 830 džez kompozicija.

Milutin Lazich, 1941-2026, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle entered eternal rest on Monday, February 9, 2026. Along with his family, music was his joy, devotion, and passion.

Milutin was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and moved to the United States as a young boy. He attended and received a BFA and Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Choral Conducting from Indiana University in Bloomington.

A Collection of Iconographic Essays and Illustrations

The Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Western America is pleased to announce the publication of an outstanding book by Fr. Stamatis Skliris, a disciple of the great twentieth-century theologians Archimandrite Justin Popovich and Bishop Athanasius Yevtich. Fr. Stamatis is a parish priest in Athens and is renowned as an iconographer and as a writer and lecturer on Byzantine iconography.

In the Mirror is the second of a planned collection of works of contemporary theologians. It is an anthology of Fr. Stamatis’ articles which have appeared in Greek and Serbian. In it, he combines adherence to the teachings of the Church Fathers with a vibrant expression of faith through the experience of Christ in the Church. The book is adorned with more than 200 striking icons and illustrations by Fr. Stamatis.
